Registrations for the 2024 IBCWG are now open
We are pleased to announce that registrations and abstract submissions for the 2024 International Burkholderia cepacia Working Group (IBCWG) are now open!
Registration fee for the meeting is 320€ (VAT 22% included).
Accompanying persons fee: 140€ (it includes welcome cocktail, coffee breaks, lunches and dinner on May 16th) or dinner only (40€).
Registration is due for all participants (both presenters and attendees only). Payment is possible by credit card or bank transfer.
After February 29th, 2024, registration fees will be increased by 100€.
CANCELLATION POLICY
100% refund for cancellations by February 29th, 2024
50% refund for cancellations by April 15th, 2024
After April 15th, the registration fee is not refundable but substitutions are always accepted.
The meeting fee covers: access to technical sessions, welcome cocktail on May 14, coffee breaks, buffet lunches on 15-16 May, social dinner on May 16th.

Abstract submission guidelines
Abstracts must be sent to the Organizing Secretariat using this form (https://form.jotform.com/233233783555359) no later than March 22, 2024. Abstracts must describe exhaustively the content of the work that you intend to present in English.
Please, note that the acceptance of the abstract does not automatically register the authors at the meeting. The author who will present the work during the meeting must register and pay the registration fee within the deadline.

The meeting will be held from May 14 – 17, 2024, at Aula Golgi, Palazzo Botta, Piazza Botta 9, Pavia, Italy.

We are in the process of contacting hotels close to the meeting venue, trying to get you the best rates possible for your accommodation. We will also provide a list of B&Bs. When booking your flights, you can either book flights to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) or Milan Linate Airport (LIN). We look forward to seeing you at IBCWG2024 in Pavia from May 14 – 17, 2024!

Announcing the IBCWG 2022
We are happy to officially announce the 2022 International Burkholderia cepacia Working Group (IBCWG)!
The meeting will be held from August 24 – 27, 2022, at the Munk School of Global Affairs, 1 Devonshire Pl, Toronto, ON M5S 3K7, Canada.
We have hired the services of Rofail Conference & Management Services to be the IBCWG 2022 Meeting Organizer. Please contact Mrs. Wafaa H. Antonious, email: wantonious@rogers.com if you have any questions or concerns regarding meeting logistics.
We are currently working on getting the conference website up and running. We will send you the link to start registering and submit your abstracts as soon as they are available. We will also have virtual registration and virtual presentation available for those who cannot participate in person.
We are in the process of contacting hotels close by to the Munks School of Global Affairs, trying to get you the best rates possible for your accommodation. When booking your flights, you can either book flying to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)or Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ).

IBCWG 2020 meeting
The 22nd International Burkholderia cepacia Working Group Meeting in Toronto, Canada has been postponed due to current developments with COVID-19. The co-chairs of the conference Dr. Liz Tullis, Dr. Valerie Waters, and Dr. Silvia Cardona are working to assess the situation and to propose a new meeting date. Mohsin Akhtar will be responding questions regarding registration fees.

Dear friends and colleagues,
We are very excited and proud to invite you to The 20th International Burkholderia Cepacia Working Group Meeting next year in Columbus Ohio.
The meeting will start on Wednesday April the 27th at 6 pm and end on Saturday April 30th, 2016 at noon.
It will take place in the Blackwell Hotel close to the Ohio State Stadium and the campus.
We are excited to see you all in Columbus!
